I get people love it, but for me a 4K film looks off even when you turn off motion smoothing. If others want to spend the bucks on it, good for them—but it’s not for me, I don’t need to see everyone’s skin pores! 😬😂

The first thing I do is turn off the abomination that is motion smoothing on any TV I have to watch, so no, it’s not that. And yes, 4K combined with motion smoothing is an extra special brand of viewing hell.

I don’t understand the attraction to 4K. While it’s probably great for video games and perhaps sporting events absolutely everything else looks like it’s a cheap soap opera (or porn) shot on videotape in the 80s With a production budget of $1.98.

But in August the language was removed & in Nov voters passed revised prop 50 overwhelmingly. So it proceeds regardless of TX's non-voter approved plans
