Just vanish, take all of your stuff from work and just leave, or tell them, but only on your last day. Companies don't give us 2 weeks notice when they fire us, why should we give them any?

If you're gonna wear the gloves underneath the prosthetic, you may want to keep the extra space for the sake of comfort.
