Well they know how to gamble. How hard is it to rank your top 3?

I live overseas and voting is the only way to actually have any kind of say in what is becoming of our country. I appreciate that Colorado makes it very easy and reaches out to make sure I know how to do it. Wish more states were as proactive.

CIA-trained chef husband who lived in DMV for 20 years (20 years ago) still misses the Arlington Asian food strip.

We spent six weeks there and it’s an amazing place to spend time. The only place we liked better in our four years in Mexico was Puebla. Enjoy!

Right…when they want to play with you, it feels like winning the lottery, even though they’d sit on your lap all day long. Playing is a different level.

What the US has, after living overseas, is covering pre-existing conditions (thank you Obama). We paid $20K for insurance that didn’t cover those OR in-patient care. When we can afford to buy US insurance again we will know that it covers us. But, we could get an MRI for $500, not $7000 overseas.

Oh, and because housing is taking all our $$. So housing and healthcare. That’s the whole deal at this point. Everything else is luxury.

We actually didn’t take out ACA healthcare because we knew the premium increase would be unaffordable. And the coverage was horrible. So uninsured 58 and 64 year old who make six figures. Welcome the the US in 2025.

It means a roof over your head, access to healthcare, ability to retire with dignity, not more “stuff”

I think a lot of Americans are getting to the point where they would trade cheap goods and more meals out for reasonably priced housing and healthcare. We can do with fewer clothes/shoes/meals if the items that take up most our budgets and determine our well being are affordable and reachable.
