Survival Day 2025, Bondi Beach. On the 26th of January for the past few years I’ve attended the Community Dawn Reflection, it’s a beautiful event, bringing the community together to celebrate our First Nations Peoples.

Our son is home from university, so he gets landed all our IT jobs, I’ve got a bunch of external hard drives I was unable, with a decades worth of photos. The genius has sorted the issue, and I’m having a wonderful time looking through them all, finding old favourites.

After weeks of near perfect summer weather, Sydney is being battered by a southerly wind, rain and cooler temps. I’m so glad I managed to squeeze in a quick snorkel with Mr Grouper before the weather hit.

Woo hoo, did anyone else get a Sydney Marathon entry from the ballot this morning?

It seems we’re moving over here. It’s the dawn of a new age. I hope to find a similar lovely community over here. This was Bondi Beach the other morning

There seems to be a lot of cats here, it’s not that I don’t appreciate those gorgeous little felines, but where are all the dogs hiding. This is my dog, with her favourite ball.

I usually loiter around on threads, but there’s been much excitement about Bluesky over there, so I thought it best I come see how lovely you all are.
