I think most humans do better on routines and schedules, the issue isn’t just about figuring out what works with your body, mind, your own natural rhythms, and the like, but also sticking with it. Goes into that forming a habit and all. Yet if we break that cycle, yay, not. It thoroughly goes to pot and we have to reform another one.

Today we are reading Chapters 3 and 4 of Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and I am barely cognizant after 2 days of little sleep. Also please always remember that if you have anything you’d like to have read? Get in touch with me. I can share chapters of your work, poems, heck even recipes and stories that go with them. Because even in cooking, there’s a story to share somewhere. A short you wrote, a life story you want to share that you think is funny. Anything goes as long as it’s within terms of service sort of limits.

Honestly I like saying welcome to the madhouse. This is apparently gonna be a thing for me. Sort of like when I came up with ‘Beware the hellhounds who lurk in the shadows, for they are so hungry, and you are so tasty.’ lol I’m not even sure where my mind was at when I came up with that, but it works for so many aspects of my life and work. It could mean horror, it could mean my dogs, it could encompass not giving attitude because male friends watch over me.

Welcome back to story time at the madhouse with Kimberly Sue Iverson presents, lol. We’re all a little mad here so welcome back if you’re returning, and welcome if you’re new. So this week we are starting Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and like I did with The Time Machine, I am going to just read the intro, and the information around the story, and then I will read chapter one. Next week I will decide whether to do one or more chapters, depending on the length of the chapters, and how long the read is getting of course.

Coming up next week is Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs. In the meantime something was on my mind. So let’s talk stalkers. I have seen posts about a lot of dark romance that has themes that can understandably affect people. So let’s talk about stalkers in particular. One argument is against romanticizing such behavior, or even joking about it, and I completely understand where people are coming from when they speak about it that way. Because on one hand, I completely agree. On the other hand a lot of people just enjoy it or find it healing from their own experiences.

Last week we left off in Chapter 9 with the time traveler having sadly lost Weena potentially to the fire he started in the woods. While many of the Morlocks are distracted and blinded by the fire and daylight, he is headed toward the White Sphinx to hopefully get to his time machine. We are finishing the book this week, and I will be starting in on Tarzan of the Apes next week since I have no other blogs lined up yet to post. Haven’t had time to write any or think of any.

This recipe for Creamy White Chicken Enchiladas is made with flour tortillas, shredded chicken, cheese, green chiles and a delicious creamy white sauce!

Today we are reading Chapters 8 & 9 of H.G. Wells - The Time Machine. Fun fact, I have to often double-check myself for the title with these. To ensure I’ve written down the name correctly. I’m not sure why my brain wants to do something different, or what it gets confused, but instead of the The Machine, I always want to say or write, the time traveler. So if I ever mistakenly do that, and overlook it in edits - this be why! Lol Last week we left off in Chapter 7 with the Time traveler taking Weena with him toward the Palace of Green Porcelain after realizing what the Morlocks ate, and narrowly getting stuck down in their little realm.
