“Hopefully the Republicans may hear us” may be the dumbest sentence I’ve heard uttered since her colleague from Maine said Trump “learned his lesson” after his first impeachment.

My Dad was a proud laborer and then a labor leader his whole career. Never once did I go to his labor union hall and see anyone who looked like this.
If your patriotism relies on racial exclusion, it’s a problem. Labor Department social media campaign depicts an all White male workforce .

Being able to address, comfort and bring together a community at a time of crisis or tragedy is a skill not all politicians have. Andy Beshear has it.

This is ghoulish. A clear attack on trans people that also swings the door wide open for ethnic profiling and eugenics. This is not ok.

Heartbreaking news to wake up to. I saw Setti just months ago in DC, and he was the same person I knew him to be for over two decades: kind, brilliant, engaging and willing to help out others and offer an open door. He taught me that there are good people in politics. My heart breaks for his family.
Setti Warren, who served two terms as mayor of Newton, Mass., has died. Warren, a Navy veteran who was the first African-American to be popularly elected to a mayoral seat in the state, also ran for governor and the US Senate. He was 55. https://bit.ly/3JyIzqb

The right declared BLM to be a terrorist organization. Now they’re giving this devout white supremacist the “let’s hear him out” treatment. If the purpose of P25, the DEI purging, sending troops to Black-led cities, dehumanizing ICE kidnappings, and Goebbelsesque messaging wasn’t clear to you before
The gap between the white-supremacist influencer Nick Fuentes and the rest of the right is narrower than it has ever been, @alibreland.bsky.social argues.
