I sat at my desk marveling at how fast the day went. Then my joy turned to despair as I realized my life had flown by just as quickly. I guess I’m a glass is half empty while also being full person. This is proof that I’m a writer down to my DNA, because only a writer could over think this much.

The world may be on fire around us, but I have a cat purring on my lap and a book to finish writing so tonight everything will hold.

This Thanksgiving, for the first time, I’ll be with my extended family. My parents, and siblings are left leaning, but outside of us the koolaide has been drank. I’m not engaging in an argument though. I’ve decided this isn’t my lesson to learn or teach.
