Python is classic stuff. I used to be in the SCA (surprise!) and Monty Python and The Holy Grail is the fan favorite, hands down. We'd watch it over and over. I can pretty much quote it all the way through. And The Princess Bride, of course.

I couldn't agree more. He's adorable, gorgeous, kind, intelligent, compassionate, talented, and so hot. I feel like my heart is fluttering and going all pitter-patter.

I will grant that the first 5 seasons (of SPN, of course) are special. Eric Kripke was still heavily involved in the show, and he had originally planned to end the show after S5. Sam was supposed to be possessed by Lucifer and die.

I love this fandom. And I have seen/been in a bunch of fandoms, and it's always the guys who are the worst. Whether it's Star Wars/Star Trek, or Buffy/Angel/Firefly or sci-fi in general, it's always cishet men who make trouble, harass others, and are creeps.
