Our special education teacher residency grant was also part of this indiscriminate termination. Disheartening to see funding pulled from efforts to prepare and retain teachers for high-need school districts.
Yup. “The abrupt termination of $600 million in federal grants for teacher recruitment and retention ranks among the most hurtful and counterproductive actions of the new Trump administration – and that’s saying a lot.”
