Agreed. I am not using it to endlessly doom scroll, but I tend to read included links, engage with comments, and am actually excited to tell my family about an interesting thing I learned here.

That is interesting! And we see that NZ elected a very right-wing populist government this year and South Korea has moved in that direction for the last several years. Coincidence? 🤔

And with a push by many to further deteriorate our public schools, I don't see that improving soon. Interesting that this was for adults. Did we actually decline in performance over time compared to other countries?

Oh, your point of view could be invaluable in this discussion. Sometimes I feel like the PA denials are not transparent because who wants to say "yeah, this treatment would help but it's hella expensive for the incremental quality of life improvement." But suggesting TRUE savings is useful for all.

Wow, that is a tough one but I do understand why insurers originally thought PAs were a good idea. I think some of the feedback I've seen in this thread might point to a compromise. The first being that PAs should be reviewed by doctors in the appropriate specialty.

As much as I believe in natural consequences, I don't want to see people suffer because they were lied to repeatedly. For every stupid move over the next four years, I am blaming the Republicans or the Republican administration. Those who lie together should shoulder the blame together.
