Georg Albert Ruthenberg ( August 5, 1959), "Pat Smear" was the lead guitarist and co-founder of LA–based punk band The Germs and a rhythm guitarist for the band Nirvana. After Nirvana disbanded, drummer Dave Grohl went on to form Foo Fighters, with Smear joining on guitar.

Today is a sad day for surrealism enthusiasts and creators. Lynch's passing, due to the same illness that took my dad's life, is heartbreaking. He's left behind some brilliant works of art. Here are my three favorites; what are yours?
