It was an honor to speak to CAPASA last week about public service and how we can confront the moment we’re in as a country head on.

It’s conversations like these that keep me energized and optimistic about the future and the young people who are leading the way.

Let's set the record straight. Donald Trump has nothing to brag about when it comes to lowering costs for American families.

We have his tariffs to thank for the high costs we're seeing this year at Thanksgiving.

During the shutdown, I sat down with Cindy and others in a NJ diner, and heard their plea to hold the line when it came to lowering healthcare costs.

Now, Cindy is facing an 85% increase in her healthcare premiums as a result of Trump and Republicans' failure to deliver any relief. 1/2

This Fall, I invited our interns to brief me on a policy issue they care about, and pitch legislative solutions. It was great to see the hard work they put in to tackle problems we face.

This next generation of young, bright leaders is exactly what our country needs.

November is National Family Caregivers Month. I want to recognize all the caregivers out there who are doing the hard work of taking care of loved ones, often without pay or adequate support.

I see you and I'm going to be working hard to make sure you get the support you need.

The Gateway Project will make life easier. As I heard this weekend, it’s about better access to work, school, and opportunities so New Jersey families can thrive.

It was great to be in conversation with @menendez.house.gov at the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies’ (APAICS) End of Year briefing earlier this week. 1/2

This week, I met with members of IBEW Locals 33 and 400 from NJ to discuss the impact of Trump's Big Disastrous Bill, which took away member jobs and opportunities.

We must support projects that put people to work, not give tax breaks to Elon Musk and his billionaire friends.

We have a moral imperative to end the hunger crisis in this country.

Shame on us if we lose sight of our responsibility to help people in need.

Today, I joined @hungerfreeamerica.bsky.social to help them release their annual hunger report. In short: we're not doing nearly enough to help those who need it most.

In the richest, most powerful country in the world, no one should be struggling to figure out where their next meal is coming from.

Today, I met with Heidi Murkoff, Founder of the What to Expect Project, to talk about how we can better improve maternal health outcomes and support expecting parents.

All moms—and dads—deserve to be supported and set up for success when it comes to starting a family.

The Gateway Tunnel Project brings great economic opportunity to New Jersey, yet Trump has used the fate of its funding as a tool for political retribution.

New Jerseyans don’t care about political games, they just care about their communities.

This weekend, I joined NJ commuters on the RVL, the NJ Transit rail line that connects the Raritan Valley region to NYC. They shared their difficulties of multi-transfer trips, hours-long wait times, and aging infrastructure that does not meet their needs. 1/2

Like many NJ towns, Dunellen’s residents rely on trains.

As Mayor Cilento says, public transit and restoring funding for the Gateway Project shouldn’t be a political issue.
November 16, 2025 at 12:23 AM
I was up in Dunellen, NJ this morning to talk with business owners about the need to invest in public transportation infrastructure.

For these small businesses, restoring funding for the Gateway Project means improved train service, more foot traffic, and greater economic opportunity. 1/2

New Jerseyans look out for each other.

As the shutdown extends past 40 days, people back home are giving back as Trump fights to take food away from people who need it most.

These inspiring stories are a must read.

To honor the service of our veterans, it is essential to listen to their stories. That’s why I host a Veterans Town Hall, to create a gathering place that celebrates the legacy of their sacrifice.

Thank you to the 3 veterans that shared their thoughts and to all who tuned in.

Happy 250-year anniversary to our Marine Corps. Thank you to our service members today and every day for their dedication to our nation.

Kara is a New Jersey resident who is seeing her healthcare costs skyrocket without the help of ACA premium tax credits.

Stories like Kara's are why we need to find a solution that will give families the healthcare relief they need and end this shutdown.

Now a VIRTUAL event! Please join me for a virtual Veterans' Town Hall on Saturday, November 8th at 10am.

This isn't one of our regular town halls; this is a chance for you to hear directly from NJ veterans about their service and ask them questions. 1/2

Speaker Johnson needs to bring House Republicans back from their paid vacation.

It's time to negotiate. Our families are on the line.

Trump’s tariffs have been nothing short of a disaster for American families. Higher grocery, gas, rent, healthcare, and utility prices — the average household can’t afford this.

It’s time we put a stop to these tariffs and focus on lowering costs across the board.
November 6, 2025 at 12:55 AM
Rent or groceries. Medicine or gas. Education or healthcare.

Right now, families face an impossible choice because of the healthcare crisis that Trump and Congressional Republicans have created.

It’s way past time for them to come back to work and end this shutdown.

In the wake of the Trump Administration's federal funding freezes, targeted budget cuts, and broader attacks aimed at the nonprofit sector, our office is hosting a webinar about non-federal funding streams for nonprofits on Friday, November 14th from 12-1pm. 1/2

1 in 8 people rely on SNAP.

You know something's wrong when in the richest, most powerful country in the world, the President is refusing to fund SNAP and instead, actively weaponizing people's hunger.

It's immoral. It's cruel. And it must come to an end.
