New blog post - I have designed a new serial card for the Minstrel 4th and RC2014 bus. More on that next week, but first a look back at some of the things I tried before settling on this design.

Spread the word: November 25 is #ChuckPeddleDay — celebrating the engineer behind the legendary MOS 6502 processor, the heart of so many home computers and game consoles of the 80s. 💾🕹️

If you own a machine powered by a 6502, fire it up on that day and share a photo with the hashtag #ChuckPeddleDay

Ok, obviously I'm a little slow but I just bought the August issue of Compute!'s Gazette. The return of an old rag from way back then.

Not just for the Commodore, there are articles on Tandy and Atari along with old rag style articles and examples in BASIC and 6502 Assembly

I'm impressed!

Self-modifying code: sound engineering practice or road to madness?
Self modifying code is the bread and butter for 6502 based computers such as the Commodore 64 and Atari 8-bit.

If it could be done and be used for a practical purpose, it's well worth making use of it!
