I got to wondering what ever happened to school massacres in the US now that the Bloviator in Chief commands the stage.
Turns out there were 169 school mass shootings to 31 May. 216 people killed, 643 wounded. Maybe deploying the National Guard to protect kids should be a thing?

Spot on. We have laws to stop sawdust in bread, ensure actual drugs are in medicines, actual concrete in bldg foundations, to ensure weights and measures are correct, to stop putting pollutants in water supplies, to ensure aircraft are safe to fly and the pilots are qualified. Why do we need them??
Every time a corporation or a billionaire complains about red tape and regulation, remember that we had to write laws because they behaved so unethically, and we had to enforce those laws because they insisted on breaking them.
