Just looked at your profile. You know it! I haven't played that much, but if you're down for a BGA match, I'd love to try out a deck I've been building. I haven't bought a lot of cards, so it's mainly a lightly altered starter deck.

It's another TCG. It's similar to Disney Lorcana, but instead of fighting the other player's cards, you're laying down expedition teams in order to try and move your token ahead. If you're on Board Game Arena, you can try it out there.

100% understand exactly what you're saying! Been there and done that too many times. Try this: Ask your group to take a pause from the campaign for one to two sessions. Tell them honestly why and offer to host board games/jackbox/etc in it's place at the typical time you have for your sessions.

I fully agree with this. I'd also build on this idea. Ask yourself what is causing the burnout. A problem player, not sure where to take the game, or life stress. My opinion is that the game is just that, a game. It should be fun. Find out what is making it not fun and fix it.

I fully agree with this. I'd also build on this idea. Ask yourself what is causing the burnout. A problem player, not sure where to take the game, or life stress. My opinion is that the game is just that, a game. It should be fun. Find out what is making it not fun and fix it.

Solely for the region, not the pokemon, Id also say Unova. My reason is odd. I was in France when Black/White came out, so I picked up Blanche/Noire and played it in French. It just felt right.

I just saw a sneaky trick from a youtube video that I'm going to try this weekend. If you only one one monster on the board, but want to make it more of a challenge, "stack" the monsters. Make it actually 4 baddies rolled into 1. Track HP as one unit and give all 4 a turn each round.

For my fellow #GameMasters, again, we're using the #PF2E ruleset. As this is a VERY new group, I'm not using the free dedication rules as I am trying to keep things as simple as possible. I'm using pieces of the #Kingmaker Companion Guide, such as the camping rules. Other NPCs may make appearances.

For my fellow #GameMasters, again, we're using the #PF2E ruleset. As this is a VERY new group, I'm not using the free dedication rules as I am trying to keep things as simple as possible. I'm using pieces of the #Kingmaker Companion Guide, such as the camping rules. Other NPCs may make appearances.
And with that, we have our main characters of my #Kingmaker #homegame using the #Pathfinder2e ruleset. I'll use a different thread for each session as 300 characters is a tough limit to work with when detailing out campaign notes.

Finally, we have #Bruno, a Catfolk Dragon-Blooded Sorcerer (he/him). Once part of a noble lineage, his fire-based sorcery caused him to be outcast from his hometown and now Bruno has set out with nothing but the clothes on his back, seeking a new life in the #RiverKingdoms.

#Leafu is a Tengu Monk (he/him) that hails from the Rostland, where he studied at a Monastery to learn the Dragon Stance form of martial arts. Leafu has traveled to the River Kingdom to seek out new challenges to test his mastery of martial arts.

During their travels while heading to the #RiverKingdoms, Taith and Juniper found a circus using "employed" halflings in bad working conditions. As the two freed the halflings, Juniper saw a caged polar bear that was malnourished. Sensing it's need, she freed the polar bear and named it Tiny.

First up is Miri Minthe. #Miri is a Human Ranger (She/Her) and is considered a Brevic Noble hailing from #Medvyed. As such, Miri is well trained in surviving in the wilderness. As a bit of a tomboy, she was sent to the #RiverKingdom to see if she really could test her worth to be a noble.

As always, when telling a story, you have to set the scene with a good cast of characters. Overall, we have 5 players, my wife, my two boys and two friends from my wife's work. I'm going to keep their personal details to a minimum, but all of them are new to any #ttrpg except for my wife.

That's an absolutely fair point. I just feel like my thoughts aren't worth much and that what I have to say has already been said in one way or another in a different format. Maybe I'll use my account to write out game ideas as well as my campaign notes that my players can't see.
