Does relaxing music help you or white noise? Sometimes it works for me and others it's a no go. White noise, like rainforest storm, has a higher chance to help.

I felt like I was the only one because everyone else says "I can immediately fall asleep when I touch the pillow." Same to waking up at an inconvenient time like clockwork! 5% chance to sleep again

The worst, at least in my experience, is when I am super sleepy elsewhere, but the moment I get in bed my brain decides to hit 1000mph. Do you get that as well? Grrrr

The best "fix" for me is to be physically exhausted so my brain can't keep me up. Exercising an hour before bed, such as walking or working out, into a shower helps me get a decent sleep routine.
