Last year I got to see it again on the big screen myself. The theater even let me decorate the lobby with some of my collection and that viewing was phenomenal! When you have a big dark theater and that booming sound it's a rock concert like experience!

I love Event Horizon: Dark Descent but it causes some problems in the story canon. Here is a page from the novelization and the shooting script. Claire died two years before the movie takes place, so 2044-2045 but the comic has her dead at the beginning of issue #1 so circa 2040.
