That was the gospel yesterday at Mass, on which the homily was based. Then later the deacon said a special prayer for Charlie Kirk and it seemed like blasphemy. I don’t understand how so many (including priests like Cardinal Dolan) were/are fooled by him. It made me physically ill.

Yeah but what is being done about it? There is no ethics office stopping him, and republicans sure aren’t saying anything to the Executive Branch. We no longer have checks and balances. The Supreme Court would likely side with Trump even if a suit was filed against him and brought to them.
