Taxing on the nerves
Well, it was a good, clean crack so I Super Glued the whole length, and of it back into the kiln and fired again with an added step of an additional 8 degrees, and a longer anneal. It did okayla, so I'm going to slump it today

I just put this single layer glass with components on them into the kiln about 3 hours ago on a super slow schedule. Hoping for no cracks or breaks!

I'm going to be firing a hand, cut much like a piece of paper with my hand on it would have been. It's made from #Modeling Glass by #Glassbird Studios and this was a bunch of leftover from other projects. It is about 1/2" thick!.

I'm a glass artist from North Texas and I've been making this year's glass ornaments. The theme is the quiet time on Christmas morning, before everyone wakes up and there's a great cup of hot coffee or chocolate to enjoy!
