Has the time come to leave X for good? It’s just too much American news at this stage. I don’t ‘get’ Trump or how he operates. It’s nonsensical. But I don’t live in the states. Shocking that he has stopped military aid to Ukraine. But what difference do I make being sad/angry about it!? 💔

Really struggling about whether or not to leave X for good. Close down my account. I feel like the people I’ve ‘met’ on there and get on with, that I’ll see them either in person at some stage or will follow elsewhere. It’s really not a nice place at all anymore. What do you all think?

I understand the sentiment behind dry January, but if you don't want to commit to this, I've an alternative.

I posted on X in response to someone getting fairy lights stolen off their olive tree from outside their restaurant that the thief “gets electrocut*d”. Was joking. Was a joke. I’m Irish, we have funny sense of humours. I got suspended. So funny.

On our way to see one of my brothers and his wife in Rostrevor, Co Down. Left about 3 hours late. Went out last night to a friends house for drinks, got delayed this morning. Why do I always. not. leave. earlier. 😂😭

My husband is actually making me watch yellowstone. So we can have this in common and he can talk to me about it. Good that he wants to share it because he loves it or bad that he thinks we need to have more to talk about. 😂😂

Ok Bluesky, let’s see how you work…! Hopefully it’s a kinder, nicer platform. I still enjoy the (darker) one because I just follow people when I agree with their views, for the most part. World is a bit scary at the minute so hopefully this can be a reprieve from it. I’ll concentrate on food!😂
