also because this is more of a PC, I could see this being used in small to large companies. It's like "oh lets just mass order Steam Machines for our work. ok done".

it's like when the Air Force (I think) used a bunch of PS3s to make a super computer. Companies running on the GabeCube.

the fact it's being talked about as a PC as well and they're more trying to price around that, I imagine it could be cheaper than most gaming laptops. that'd be ideal IMO

I have my PC, PS5 and Switch 2 already. This is a cool/desirable device, but I also feel it's gonna be at minimum probably $700 at launch. If anything, could be a great entry for PC gaming IF Valve makes this available through other retailers (which I kinda doubt)

also will the Machine and Controller only be available through Steam like the Steam Deck? I'm assuming yes which is pretty nutty, not having this on other online storefronts.

I remember I think almost over a decade ago they were trying to do this Steam Machine move. It definitely was a mixed bag, but I wonder how this'll be perceived nowadays.

All that matters really is how much it is.

one thing I absolutely despise about modern movie trailers is that stupid DUN DUN DUN DUNDUNDUN percussion they use. It's like "LOOKTHISISEXCITINGGETHYPE". it's like let an editor make a compelling trailer.
