Nah I mean to me it just shows the major problem with the sport… the T20.

Players 1 through 9 are going out raising the bat at absolutely anything at any stage of the game with plenty of time remaining it simply isn’t necessary and it shows a general lack of discipline.

Australian urbanism is good actually… at least in comparison with American urbanism.

Australian cities usually include trains, trams and bikes in major cities and unlike American cities our cities set goals and meet or exceed targets.

And we do not get anywhere near enough credit for it.

That SUV’s should be illegal to own for people who don’t have a valid reason for owning one.

That e-bikes should be subsidised by governments to encourage adoption.

That a bike infrastructure plan should be standard with every road renewal.

To say building the ‘skyrail’ (as it’s known here) has been successful would be an understatement, it’s been absolutely revolutionary and changed how people think about trains and transport in general.

Hmm these pictures are from Melbourne along the train line I use, about 6 to 7 years ago the government began separating the train lines from the roads and where it got elevated it left space for bike paths, basketball courts, skate parks, tennis courts and playgrounds etc.

I honestly just think elevated rail in general is just objectively good

3 - Vol 3
2 - Leviathan
1 - Ashes Of The Wake

Honestly all three of these records are worth 3 votes imo.

I don’t agree, I think public and active transport combined are the best way to move around big cities.

Things marketed as individual pleasures without any recognition of their negative externalities (aka impacts on other people) are not new: tobacco, guns, alcohol etc. Huge SUVs etc are the same. When these negative impacts are brought to account, governments intervene.

I hope this happens soon.
