Curious paragraph from Robin Allen's "Walt Disney & Europe" on the role of the scientific consultants for the 'Rite of Spring' sequence in "Fantasia". 🦖 An interview with Dick Huemer (co-story director) seems to directly confirm the role of Charles Knight in the visualization of the animals.

😯 Richard Moody's book 'Prehistoric World' from about the same time shows a similar scene with animals labeled Velociraptor. I believe this was before any connection was made with Deinonychus: Velociraptor would've been a "generic theropod"
