Why do almost every end-of-the-year best movies list include the same couple of movies but in a slightly different order? There are over 1000 movies coming out each year in the USA alone. Was it always like this, or has our discourse on movies gotten narrower?

Why do I need Bluesky if what I see on it is what Trump tweeted on another platform? And why do people care what Trump says anyway? It's not like it means anything, and it's not even surprising or amusing at this point. You people are just bored.
