Mix of both.
I was off this year (mostly to remind myself why I help the con) being an attendee super sponcer but very close to a few of stage crew,hotel, & some of the other departments.
I got to hear & see from both ends.
Might be a permanent position cause it was very helpful to the team.

Reg will be a easier solution they are looking at options.
The primary was the theme team really trying to set fire with the other departments.
Not a pretty year at all.
But the team is well on it

Just so disappointing and frustrating all around.

Just patted their back and be like yeah just vote.
What the hell I don't need them to be Disney level of emersiveness but go all in on that of that case with the bit. Not just open the curtain of this is what we did.
That can be end of panel for questions but not the whole thing

This they said at their panel too of "who done it" that turned too "hey we worked hard, please like our theme" verses what various attendees was hoping to be a emersive panel.

They should have at least informed all department heads from the beginning.
But that's not what they did.
Too too focused on not letting anyone know in thinking "let the staff have fun with this too".
Yeah hotel almost didn't even know till two weeks prior otherwise that would have been much worse.

They are hearing.
when more then both half the staff and attendees already submitted their reviews is something for this con. They are actually looked at and brought to a con review meeting.
But let's hope for some good improvements for the coming years.

This is and will be highly discussed with the board for the next month with next year's theme being more together also the same with reg.

Programming didn't know they so could not have been prepared to make it more interactive.
for the majority of the con had potential with both themes working fine but the main theme team basically said we can't trust you, we got this and not work with the rest of the board.

On top of the whole second theme of murder was kept secret from a large majority of the staff up until two weeks more so day of for AV & stage crew. Got almost no chance to rehearse for both opening and closing.

Believe me when I say the theme team & reg team were poorly managed & especially after this year. They plan to move away from regfox. Prime issue for the registration of printing failure.
