Sometimes it's truly incredible to me the connections that can be made with complete strangers. Someone you've never met before and will probably never meet again, but in that brief moment you bond over shared experiences and interests.

And now for the hardest part of the journey: coming home and facing the music.

Hopped around the tidal pools yesterday. My shoes still smell of low tide, but it was fun.

I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone, and learning to step up for myself and advocate for myself in the process.

I'm using these posts as a bit of a push to keep going. It feels almost like having someone else to hold me accountable for not trying, even if nobody actually sees this.

I've been sleeping better on a trip that made me so nervous than I ever have at home. That's a bit telling.

I was super nervous to embark on this journey. I've never done a trip like this before. I was even more scared to be going on my own.

But I did it, I'm here. And I'm finally LIVING for once instead of just existing.
