A much less gloomy post: I did the math, and unless I do, like, 40 page chapters or something...I should be able to finish volume 3 with a month to spare before my first con of 2026. And since I can generally do 1 1/2 to 2 pages a day...even more time? Oooh, so exciting!

As per usual, I am frustrated as hell that I can't draw for much more than two hours (even with rest in between). The physical therapist did say it would take me a long time to fully recover, but, well....I am not known for my patience 🥲Siiiigh.

When I was younger, I kept my chapters pretty strictly at 16-20 pages. But nowadays they're getting longer and longer...it's starting to become normal to have 30+ pages.

I have no doubt that Ka-blam is going to reprint my books, but that still leaves me with a problem: I now have 25 misprinted books and I dunno what to do with them 😐
Normally I would mark them down a LOT, but I struggle to get people to even take the free things, sooo....

Know what I loved about today? The one local reader we have stopped by our table and was very eagerly asking about the status of volume 3. And it was great to be able to tell them that it's coming next year. 🥰🥰🥰
