It was probably just a one-time thing, considering all the other sleeves worked fine, but I would go the even safer route and just not sleeve up GPU cables at all as they're the ones pulling the most juice

I had these problems for months when I saw that the voltage to my gpu (connected to some fancy extensions) was dropping to a point that made the system unstable.

took off the sleeves and it fixed the issue immediately

the only actual thing wrong with the machine was that the power supply for the display was fried - it sat in a garage that wasnt insulated against humidity changes and creatures

it also was spliced into the power supply for the PC but i dont think that would've caused any issues

it had some really expensive azure motion cameras, ITX-PIO i5-9400 + 1650 and a 43 inch display for digital signage

I've gotten everything divvied up and made into their own thing, power supply and driver board should be here by next week

all for free, so its only been a learning experience for me
