The more I worked on this, the more things I found to dislike about it, and the more time I was spending trying to get it to look "right" - I eventually decided to just stop fiddling and get to work on the next iteration

This commission took me way too long to finish, but I really enjoyed the process of making it. Client asked me to draw their cat as Chiron the Ferryman, but with some specific quirks about their pet. I absolutely love bringing these sort of mash-up concepts to life 🥰

I had such an enjoyable time working on this commission last year for @ankaret.bsky.social - I'm so happy with how the lighting turned out. I don't get to go full-out with backgrounds like this often enough, but I'm glad that I did it.
