Idk, I just think that:

Draw → take notes on what’s wrong → then study the areas you’re weak at (like fundamentals etc.), ask for advice from your peers → take notes on how you did it → draw again, then repeat

is a fun way to learn how to draw. Just a morning thought ^^

Oh! I do think references are VERY important to build up those muscle memories(?)/image memories(?) (the term escapes me atm).

We have to "feed" ourselves with nutrients (references from images, films, etc) before we're able to produce good arts. It's like language. Input first, then output ✨

When he first awakened, he immediately acted upon the deepest desire he always had. The dark inner belief that some people are beyond saving- the universe is healed for every idiot expelled from existence. He left the bloody scene as is and let the doctor be conscious of his work. He expected admiration or relief from his host, now that there was someone else to do the dirty work for him, as he was overly concerned of his own good morality. And yet that was not the case. The doctor felt guilty. Shame. Disgust. He came to hate himself. And the worst of all... he was broken. He couldn't possibly let his other self sulk all day and not actively trying to cure the universe. After all, teaching is still a way to eradicate stupidity from this world. He felt bad, but he needs to do what needs to be done to heal the doctor's mind. So he ate the memories away. The doctor returned to his normal schedule, completely forgotten of the case that had made him suffer for days... He's a bit confused about the days he seemingly 'skipped', but as long as he became functional again, it's still better than nothing. Now that he figured out a way to keep the doctor sane, he could keep pursuing this grand goal of his. He just needed to be more stealthy- do his work late at night and to not let him know of his existence. And if he happened to notice even the tiniest clue he accidentally left behind, he would also remove that part of his cognition. After all, he doesn't deserve that kind of burden in his mind. He existed to take that morality weight away from him. It's pretty hard to stop indulging in the pursuit of his objective. Sometimes the doctor was too smart for his own good- he ended up taking more memories than needed. Such limited resources had to be used responsibly, because who knows what would happen if his mind was consumed too much? But man, the mind of an intelligent person such as him, is too fudgin' delicious.
