Everyone out (at school, work, or walking dogs) and all electrical devices are “off”; house still using 80W power - is about as low as it gets in my house.
All the devices on standby, WiFi router, oven clock etc.
I may have to calculate how much this residual power usage actually costs per year.

My wife and grown-up children are planning for Christmas, subject of Christmas-day dinner being discussed along with suggestions about what I can cook on the BBQ (kamado oven).
I thought I'd get in there early with my preferences and what I think cooks on the BBQ.

Helping my parents have a bit of a clear out this weekend, they want me to dispose of / recycle an old PC - Dell XPS T450 w Pentium III and 9GB HDD.
I think I’ll have a tinker first for old times sake and give a bit of TLC with a disk scan and defrag.

We have dogs, so nails need trimming often but ain’t no way I’m paying a vet to do that job every few weeks. My wife keeps their nails trim, she has gotten very good at it.
Tatu had her’s done a few days ago, although her few claw probably needs a clip too. Our tools for the job in the piccies.
