My sister found and brought over my old copy of #PokémonBlue from when I was a kid, and it still works. Full Pokédex of 151 #Pokémon still saved. Peak #Nostalgia.

I don't get to talk about my own work too often, but I was glad to see a few copies of Turning Roads, a comic anthology I contributed to, at Forbidden Planet, Dublin.

Since then, I've learned a lot about #IrishFolklore and #IrishMythology, which has inspired the novel I'm finishing.

I watched #Thunderbolts* this week, and it was great. Right mix of action and comedy, while dealing with some serious themes. A little grittier than most #MCU stuff but still managed to keep the fun.

Rewatching season 1 of #Buffy, and here are some things I've noticed.

1. Teens under 18 had cool places to go to watch bands play.
2. The bands were great and everyone had good taste in music.
3. Buffy gave me unrealistic expectations of how cool teen life would be like when I was a kid.
