The streets near my home aren’t great, especially on a bike 🚲. The shortest path feels like a roller coaster 🎢.

Why aren’t more people concerned?

🚗 Cars don’t feel it as much
🚲 Not enough people bike
🕳️ Small wheels are more sensitive
I want a more bikeable city!

🌞 Solar data needed!

1/3 I’m looking for real-time solar panel data outside the UK to test forecasting models we developed in collaboration with @openclimatefix.org .

These models could make solar energy predictions more accessible 🌍✨

1/2: A common mistake in data work is not visually inspecting it enough. Whether it's tabular data, images, or text, always go beyond metrics like RMSE. For example, when predicting house prices, check if the predicted prices match the houses.

1/ 📸 🐿️ Fascinating read about AI helping detect brown/red squirrels to boost populations of the endangered reds in the UK. Did you know squirrel whiskers can help identify individuals and even family lines? 🧐
