Agreed, labels can be useful but while I'm mostly a kidfur, some days I feel more little, sometimes more of a caretaker. 95% of my littlespace mindset is sfw but as an adult sometimes that can shift in certain moods and that's okay too. Like most things it doesn't need to be concrete!

Yep! Car culture, sports memorabilia, a wardrobe full of designer dresses or bags, etc. - the "your hobby is weird but my massive POP figure collection I spent thousands on is normal" mentality is just silly (and likely still influenced by anti-queer mindsets, whether consciously or not)

I love that I see more "middles/kidfurs" now! It's more than just diapers and baby stuff - it's retro culture and kidcore, and can be a kink or hobby or lifestyle or all of the above. A lot of furries set aside what little extra they have per month in order to buy art and that is something special - especially when so many people look down on artists as having less value than other workers in society.

I know such comments are made in jest but I feel like in a way they downplay the generosity and contributions people make to holding up art in this fandom.
