What you have to understand about Pete Hegseth copying and pasting war plans into Signal is that it almost certainly means he’s got classified documents on his personal UNSECURE devices. Signal isn't on a secure device...are our war plans on his personal devices? @jeffreygoldberg.bsky.social

When our government officials use Signal, Telegram WhatsApp, and private servers to communicate about US government business, they're doing this in order to avoid transparency laws. THIS should be a scandal even if a reporter wasn't accidentally added to the group chat.

We came through Storm Éowyn all right, though we have a tree down in our back garden which knocked down a wall. It could have been much worse! It's now just cold and rainy.
