Don't think LLMs are healthy for me.

LUT blending now happens in Oklab space, instead of just lerping in gamma.

New Lost Echo patch release is out on Android. Soon on iOS.

It is using Unity 6 now and it also uses ASTC on Android devices that support it, so textures will look noticeably better.

(iOS was already using ASTC.)

Uhhh, we've had an insane download spike on Google Play and I can't quite find a specific reason for it.

I'm not complaining.

People are talking about raytracing and dynamic GI and here I am still getting excited about how much better dithering makes dLDR lightmaps look. #indiedev

Probably needs more stuff, but I don't want to add stuff that looks interactable while it's not.

This isn’t my handwriting and I can’t quite guess what’s on this floppy. I guess we’ll never know.

Not sure why I still have this

"132% of viewers" is a phrase that not only makes sense, somehow, but is also ..."typical"?

Yeah... having most of the channel unlisted wasn't a great idea in retrospect.

I'd like to fulfill one of these on youtube if possible, but even if we release a successful trailer, I just don't see us getting those bars filled.

(also, it obviously wasn't helping that I had our most viewed video as unlisted until recently🤦‍♂️)

I already have 6 half finished blog posts, but maybe it's time to write another one?

It always feels weird to be writing blog posts about the stuff I should be doing instead of writing a blog post, but I'm sort of on vacation, so it could be my vacation project?

Has anyone moved a project from FMOD 2.02 to 2.03? Are there any issues? Does the project sound different? Some of our events have gotten fairly complicated at this point:

In a certain sense, it is heartening to see that the Unity forum migration, that was planned for years, went as smoothly as was expected.

It was a fun decade+ Unity forums community, see ya elsewhere maybe.

And I think this review would've been more appropriately expressed as a fart, but hey, we can't all have what we want.

Fixed some dithering bugs and now things look great, but it also feels like maybe we've spent too much time on technical things and less time on actually finishing the game.

Hopefully it will pay off.
