...after reading The Count of Monte Cristo and watching the movie (2002 release)... i can't help but wonder if i were to read books... and then write them into screenplays... 🤔 ...could they be purchased/adapted... or... i also know quite a few LARPers... i wonder if we could do indie productions

Was thinking: "Fantasy" as a genre has been around for a long time... but it has mostly been grouped in with Sci-Fi... it seems, as though, to have come into its own, rather recently... and i can't help but wonder if, maybe, it's a good thing i have not yet been published...

Been writing more again. This being mid-July, i don't KNOW that I'll be able to achieve my goal of finishing a 1st draft this year... but i sure as hell am still gonna try ❤️

Wrote from 9:20 to 10:20. A total of 114 words. My hand is freezing up. I took an NSAID, tried icing it, and tried heat... but it hurts. I hope to attempt more writing later. Until then, for your reading pleasure: "[The horse] hunted grass mercilessly, then munched happily when it put up no fight."

My Child inspired me: they enjoy horror novels... and they LOVE Greek myth (they've read Percy Jackson SO many times, and they have 3 different publications of the books 😆)

... not sure about the punctuation... but the idea that a floorboard is "too tired" to creak tickles me 😆

... what is it that makes a novel worth reading? There are so many books out in the world, and so many that still live rent-free inside our heads... why, then, do some become popular enough to merit movies and TV shows, while others sit at the book store gathering dust?
