it's also because of that that ABC keeps doing Jeopardy shows in primetime, with Masters and Celebrity and whatnot. they turned Jeopardy into something more sporty since then, with a lot of tournaments and invitationals and whatever the fucks

The primetime Jeopardy tournament with Ken, James, and Brad was getting 14m viewers each night which was INSANE for a non sports program in 2020. Mix of hype regarding James and love for Alex following his cancer diagnosis I think
