Was just hanging out, catching up on some YouTube, and watching this talk by @glupyan.bsky.social. Then, for the first time, in all the times I’ve seen the dress, it changed colors for me. I don’t think I’ll ever feel the same. Documenting this moment.

I have been loving Waymo in LA. That said, I can’t help but think of all the unsettling ways an adversarial scenario could arise in the wild. Leaves me feeling uneasy in the car at times for sure.

🚨📄 New preprint: "Preference Centrality, but Not Set Similarity, Predicts Choices Between Sets" (osf.io/preprints/ps...).
With @umakarma.bsky.social and Ian Krajbich, we investigate how people choose between sets of items. We propose measuring similarity in preferences using ratings and networks.
