Honestly all that aside, I think it would’ve failed because it’s a worse version of split gate one. Going from “you can put portals anywhere” to “there are select spots to use them”, really killed the appeal they had.

Magic the gathering arena is “free”. There is a shop, but I’ve done hundreds of hours for free. Doing your daily’s and doing ranked are enough for gems to buy cards. Packs also have chances of you getting wild cards. This allows you to craft cards for free, that in real life would’ve costed 30$+.

I’m referring specifically to the complaints in this thread from non content creators that only had the 24 hours with the game. Not enough time has passed for people to truly get the final feel of the loop, and not just just regurgitate opinions from said souls content creators.

Reading a lot of these complaints, and feel this game needs to exist way more than 24 hours to actual give merit to these. It being a rouge lite I’d say wait till someone has at least serval double digit hours before listening to takes on the loop. Since that’s how long it takes to feel the loop.

Not on sale but still cheap keep driving. It’s an interesting take on Oregon trails formula, but about your first car. You travel across the map deciding what you want to do, while in between picking up hitch hikers, and dealing with random encounters.

Except this is about death threats, and more about the actual actions. They called cps and they showed up to their house. I get people hate Ethan, but let’s not big up the act of false cps reports.

I’d love y’all to interview the duo at @ycjygames.bsky.social they just released keep driving which is phenomenal. They also created post void a few years back. It would be very interesting in their experience of jumping between vastly different styles.
