Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) launched two rare helicopter raids on Oct 29 & 31 against Russian positions north of the city. Separately, Gen. Syrskyi’s “Skala” regiment struck into central Pokrovsk on Nov 5 – yet failed to meaningfully slow 🇷🇺 infiltration.

These brigades, poorly suited for urban defense, reportedly have weaker drone support than others. Meanwhile, widespread infantry shortages across the frontline, worsened by record desertions, make Russian infiltration harder to detect & repel.
