D&D character in the same game as @thecalicodragon.bsky.social

A pain-in-the-ass, stuck-in-the-mud paladin in a campaign setting where being an uptight religious twerp confers no magical benefits. So he went barbarian.

I suppose it would be wrong to put my own choices and morals ahead of the group, given all that we have sacrificed to come here. Why should they have to lose out for the choices I make for myself?

It would be easier to make this decision if my friends didn't do this to me CONSTANTLY.

I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised that the Cascade mocked me with a moral dilemma, given I just wanted to go in and hit things.

Fortunately, I have friends. So I can go into their versions of the Cascade and HIT THINGS.

Waking up and realizing your party member permanently lost an arm last night sucks. If I were being played by a real human being, he would probably compare it to waking up and realizing how the election went.

Ocular's gaze blesses us again this dawn, chasing away the nightmares and terrors of the unknowable. They bind us in common light, and allow us to face the new day with strength.
