Was just in DC for work and met with a few Higher Education lobbyists, and they said that if the shutdown goes to Thanksgiving, it likely goes to the new year, because congress is not immune to holiday inertia. I think SNAP changes the calculus somewhat, but we’ll see how the courts direct funding
