Book 143: gonna call this one a Turtle Tragedy, because it is. I don't reread these books, so I had forgotten about this lead and how her story ends. Which means this book is a tragedy! Which is fine, it's one of the modes of this series, but my reading lifestyle dampens their effect.

Book 142: delightful! Really hoping the author returns to this series, because watching Pie fall will be delicious.

Book 141: don't know if I'd call every story in here horror, but I do think the whole thing was fine to good! Some great audiobook performances too!

Book 139: reading my book club's next pick early (because new books from libraries are available when they're available) and HOO BOY. I wouldn't have been mad if I bought it! As a strong believer that sometimes the books we cover should be Nasty, I am pleased.

Book 138: starting the last leg of my Moore journey, and, uh, the homophobia of the lead and her best friend can stop any time?? The writing is really damaging how much I can get into the sort of story I'd normally be down for.

Book 137: I am saying this in as a non-damning way as possible - this book was at its best while I had a migraine. Towards the beginning, I mean!

Book 136: okay, so, the plot hook of getting married basically doesn't matter? It doesn't carry any emotional weight. Unless any of these girls come back, it won't. Plus, this has the stupidest guy fight so far. Weird series!

Book 135: I would say this is fine, but I would also say I didn't find the characters or the mystery compelling - so is it fine?? (Aliens should have been involved in the mystery!!)

Book 133: it's bonk in here. This is not even remotely about marriage???

Book 132: reading this on my brother's recommendation, and while he didn't mention stuff like dudes' hands getting melted off, he knows what I like. Hope it gets queerer, though! (It almost certainly won't.)

Book 131: cutting it fine with book club this month! This is mostly on me, what with traveling and also finding the opening pieces of this book almost unbearably sad. Gets a little to explain-y towards the end, but the very, very end sings, to me. It's always coming. Fight til you're dead.

Book 128: just waiting in the drive through, reading manga, wondering why the Hades possession has to end so soon

Book 127: grim, grim grim. Probably read it too fast! But I don't want to revist this cinder block any time soon.

Book 126: you know I'm a soft touch, because the emotional moment in this gross-ass splatterpunk book did bring a tear to my eye. I just love love, you know?

Book 125: it's fine! A good travel book, because it's fine. Very funny that, by transitive properties, this is a Snoke book.
