I'm trying to understand Blender's workspaces, especially Layout, Modeling, and Sculpting. Aren't they basically the same as switching modes (Object, Edit, Sculpt)? Am I missing something? 🤔 need to do some searching

First thing to learn... viewport navigation. I'll stick to Blender's defaults except for what I'm really uncomfortable with. I set Middle Mouse to Pan. Orbit is now Shift+Middle Mouse. I'm used to Alt+Middle Mouse but will try to adapt. I also enabled zoom to cursor instead of center.

I agree. I recently played through the entire game again and really enjoyed its simplicity. While it has some flaws, it’s still fun to play and serves as a solid foundation for AC2 and ACB, where the series peaked (for me).
