I don’t even think it’s that accurate but whenever I think of Char and Garma’s dynamic, this is what immediately comes to mind

I finished Left Hand of Darkness and I think Ursula Le Guin might be my favorite author. The amount of detail she squeezes into every sentence is mesmerizing and for such a bleak story, she also manages to fit in such humanity and sincerity. I'll probably read this one again down the road.

As I get closer to middle-aged (and one could argue I'm there already,) I feel like I see the romance in fiction and non-fiction more keenly and I love it. I didn't expect my transition to include an appreciation for deeply romantic stuff like my mom had, but I'm not complaining. It's affirming.

Oh, and also I'm going back to school! I'd rather be broke attempting to do something I can be proud of than be comfortable and miserable.

I also couldn't quite hit my reading goal last year, so I'm already on my third of the year with "The Left Hand of Darkness" by Ursula Le Guin. I can't believe it took me so long to dig into her work, but I'm starting to think she's already going to be one of my favorites.

I got the Mega Man ZX Timelines and Legends Timelines comics today and while the ZX one didn't really do much for me (neither did the ZX games lol) the Legends comic was full of charm and had so many references that made me chuckle (the museum director made me laugh out loud.)

I think I may actually use this account, but my rule is that it can't be on my phone.

This is kind of a burner account because I'm trying to stay away from algorithms and social media, but I want to say that I'm alive and well despite *vaguely gestures at the world.*
