New at the Paul Clemen Museum in P26 of Bonn University: a plaster cast of Samson as victor over the lion from Cologne Cathedrals choir stalls (early 14th c.). Owned by the Art History Institute it came into private hands in the 1970s, when casts were no longer valued, but was now returned. Thanks!

The Paul Clemen Museum (PCM) in P26 at Bonn University acquired a cast of a sculpture from the Bode Museum in Berlin, created ca. 1310 for the nuns of Inzigkofen. It is the first cast of a colored wooden sculpture of mysticism in the PCM: John rests on his Lord's breast as a role model for the nuns.
