Trump has been trying to get black folks out in the streets to protest from day one. He wants an excuse to impose martial law. He tried it with the rumor of a Derek Chauvin pardon. Didn’t work. Now this.

Don’t condescend to me. I’m a former prosecutor. Criminal cases aren’t brought FOR victims. They’re brought for the state. Victims don’t know what it takes to get a conviction or to get a jury to recommend the death penalty. Why should they control any level of the process?
