It felt too soap opera to me, and too much "we need to save money, so let's put it on earth and a set" and I didn't dig that.

I did enjoy the cast, I thought that was outstanding. An interesting premise, but it had the same problem Atlantis did - the ability to talk to home, not be truly cut off.

I wanted to like Universe, but when the first season spent most of the time with the stones swapped with Earth, I lost interest. When they were on the ship and doing Stargate things, I was all in.

I hope it's good, I have way more invested with Stargate than I do with shows like Firefly

I'll probably try it with classic . . . Eventually. I do want to drive it with Alpha Strike, since that is what it was written for, before I try to adapt it.

Yes please! I've watched a few games from SSoG, and it looks fun, but they have been playing and writing and testing and revising and playing and .. . I want to see how someone not in the design team see it.

if anything, it's going to BUILD anticipation. I want to see pictures, I want to hear how battles go, how it plays, and general impressions.

I am VERY confident on this box, but I want to hear others opinions until my copy arrives.
