One of my career highlights this year was spending a Sunday afternoon with journalism students conducting a workshop on Trauma-informed reporting. I love talking to journalism students! They give me so hope for a better journalism industry. Hope to do more of this in 2025.

It’s been two years since I got a public record request covered with these redactions. And I still can’t help but admire the placement of these redactions. But my journalist brain is like I need to know what information these redactions hold.
